10 MILLION TREES COURTYARD – GREEN CAULDRON
This year, we will open the doors of the Green Cauldron at the Ördögkatlan Festival.
Date: August 4–8, 2026.
Location: 7827 Beremend, Kossuth Street 158.
Map
Last year, during the Ördögkatlan, we planted the half-millionth tree of the 10 Million Trees initiative at the Chapel of Reconciliation. This year, we return to Beremend: to play in the mud, to water, to dance in the rain, to converse, to watch films in the barn, to present books, and to reflect on trees, water, shade, and a more livable world.
We welcome you to Beremend, at the Lion House, across from the Blacksmith Workshop, in the Green Cauldron, together with the Jane Goodall Institute, the Birdwatching Association’s Baranya County Group, and the My Life in Africa Foundation.
We will have:
🌱 a mud playhouse every morning, where little humans can educate tree seedlings,
💧 rain dance and watering in the Cauldron Grove at the sculpture park, with cold MONYO drinks,
💦 discussions and presentations on urban and home water retention,
🐒 programs, booths, games, and quizzes from the Jane Goodall Institute and MME,
📚 Kállai Márton: Methuselahs mini-exhibition and book fair,
📖 Book presentation by Iván András Bojár: The Flood of the Tisza,
🌳 Miyawaki mini-forest day on Thursday,
🎬 barn cinema with green films about water, landscapes, and living systems.
♻️ Bring it back, we will accept it!
At the Green Cauldron, we collect 50 HUF refundable bottles and cans. At the end of the festival, the total will be donated to the work of 10 Million Trees.
