TREE PLANTING TO THE SKY – SEASON OPENING PICNIC

Many enthusiastic eyes always look back at the photos from our events. We are proud of the strong, sympathetic, conscious, and sometimes very visceral energy that connects us, along with numerous collaborations and unifications.

However, planting 10 million trees requires even more people and more partners.
This occasion was born from a collaboration as well.

The tree planting to the sky is part of our now traditional cooperation with FŐKERT, and we already have several fruitful plans for the upcoming season that we will share when the time comes.

Joint Tree Planting

We would like to gather the original ten million tree enthusiasts (we are now in our fifth year) with those who would like to join in, whether a little or a lot. We welcome our current supporters and future fans.
We are looking for new representatives for locations that are not yet part of the 10 million trees initiative, enthusiastic volunteers to strengthen the existing 10 million trees representatives and groups, and we seek individuals who could dedicate some time each week to take on some of our many tasks. At our volunteer job fair, we are looking for support in areas such as watering/maintenance, administration, finance, fundraising, logistics, etc., and we are also happily expanding our team of ecological, forestry, and gardening experts.

We would like to get to know each other so that we can learn from one another. You will also have the chance to meet Liá Pokorny and Péter Geszti.

On September 30, we will create an opportunity for a calm weekend Saturday to meet and converse by planting the Tree to the Sky. The tree planting actually offers an occasion for a picnic, where you can ask questions freely, and we can discuss the tasks ahead of us between 10:00 and 14:00.

Come in large numbers, and don’t leave the kids and/or dogs at home.

We will prepare drinks and food for the picnic, but we would gladly welcome if you also bring some snacks. To help with the decision, there will be a small (quiche) competition during lunchtime.
